The 16-day activism against gender-based violence ended on 10 December 2022 on National Human Rights Day. During the campaign, street plays were staged at JJ Inter College and Salempur village and groups discussion and workshops held at the Training Centre.
In the concluding ceremony the speakers underlined that our Constitution gave equal rights to all the citizens. It granted freedom to live honourably, do business, follow religion, study, etc. No one can encroach anyone’s rights. All the people should be aware of human rights and shun violence against women. Talks were held on forms of violence against women.
The programme ended with loud slogan raising against violence against women and gender inequality.
