Three-day training of women master trainers on the topic rising garden for women farmers was organised at the Training Centre from 28-30 December 2022. Forty master trainers from 20 villages participated in it.
These master trainers will create awareness among the women farmers on kitchen gardening in 20 villages. The women farmers will be motivated to cultivate vegetables of their daily use in their homes and courtyards organically and use them in their kitchens.
Coordinator of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Saharanpur IK Kushwaha gave information to the participants on varieties of vegetables grown in kitchen garden according to seasons. He also gave information on method of preparing organic manure. Resource person Kavita Bhatt told the women farmers how they could prepare land and beds for raising kitchen garden.
