Republic Day was celebrated at the education centres being run by Disha Social Organisation and the organisation’s offices in Saharanpur and Roorkee. Children studying in the education centres, instructors and staff of the organisation participated in the celebrations.
National flag was unfurled at all the locations. National anthem was sung, patriotic slogans were raised and cultural programmes presented. Disha Director KN Tiwari and staff delivered speeches at the celebration venues highlighting salient features of the republic and extended good wishes of Republic Day to all.
