One-day training for the members of School Management Committee was organised at the Training Centre on 28 January 2023. During the training discussion was held on the roles and responsibilities of School Management Committee members and chairpersons.
It transpired in the training that the committee members had to play critical role in the management of schools and development of children. By regularly participating in the SMC meetings, improvement can be brought in mid-day meal, toilet, drinking water, school uniform, quality of education, etc.
Information on gender equality was given. Emphasis was laid on equal opportunities to both boys and girls and girls should also get opportunity to get higher education and employment. Information on violence against women, particularly domestic violence, was also imparted to the participants.
